Today, we’re shining the spotlight on a rising star in both the fashion and film industries—a young model and actor who’s not only making waves on the runway but also setting a powerful example off-camera. With a strong dedication to fitness, self-care, and personal growth, Tarik Zahirovic embodies the energy and discipline that define a healthy lifestyle. As more people look to public figures for inspiration, individuals like him stand out as authentic ambassadors of wellness—showing that success and health truly go hand in hand. Let’s dive into the world of this multi-talented trailblazer and find out what drives his passion, both in his craft and his commitment to well-being.

HFR: How do you maintain your physical and mental well-being?

Tarik: I stay active by trying to train at the gym six days a week. The consistency keeps me physically fit and also helps me stay mentally grounded. I also focus on eating clean, getting enough rest and spending time with family and friends. Having a strong support system and staying connected to the things that I enjoy really help with my mental health.

HFR: What does a typical day of training or exercise look like for you, and how do you tailor your fitness routine to complement your modeling work?

Tarik: Most of my training happens at the gym, where I like to focus on strength and conditioning training to build a balanced physique. I train different muscle groups throughout the week and keep cardio in the mix regularly too. Since modeling often requires you to stay lean and strong, I aim for a routine that helps with muscle tone and definition.

HFR: Many people struggle with body image. How has your journey in the modeling industry shaped your own perception of beauty and confidence?

Tarik: Modeling has helped me appreciate myself more and boosted my self-confidence. At first, I was a bit unsure, as it was something I had never done before. I had anxiety about how I was going to be perceived as it was outside of the norm within my friendship circles. But now I see that being yourself is your biggest strength and real friends will always support you in your goals. I was also anxious about the eczema I’ve struggled with my whole life. However, being a part of the industry showed me that everybody has their own unique look and deals with insecurities in some form. The differences are what makes everybody unique.

HFR: Can you walk us through your daily nutrition habits? Do you follow a specific diet, or do you focus more on intuitive eating?

Tarik: I’ve had food allergies since I was a baby, so I learned early on to be mindful of what I eat. That turned into a habit of eating clean and healthy. I eat a lot of protein daily. Chicken is my go-to and I love green vegetables. I am not huge on fruit yet, but I am working on it as I know it is important. I also include dairy and mostly eat homemade meals, thanks to my mum and her Mediterranean cooking. I would say it is all about balance and listening to my body.

HFR: How do you stay motivated on days when you don’t feel like working out or keeping up with healthy habits?

Tarik: I remind myself why I started. Whether it is my goals in modeling or just feeling good mentally, staying consistent helps me stay on track. Also, once I get moving, I never regret a workout; it’s just about getting over that first hurdle. A scoop of pre-work out also never hurt anyone.

HFR: What’s one misconception people have about modeling that you wish you could change?

Tarik: That it is just about looks. There’s a lot of work behind the scenes along with a lot of discipline, professionalism, and mental strength. It’s not always glamorous, but it can be really rewarding if you stay focused.

HFR: Do you have any go-to wellness rituals or self-care practices that help you recharge mentally and emotionally?

Tarik: Spending time with family, especially around a good home-cooked meal, helps me reset. Kicking back with my friends and taking it easy. I also like to unplug from social media when I need a break. And of course just hitting the gym always works in clearing my head and giving me a boost of dopamine.

HFR: How do you balance the high expectations of the fashion world with staying true to your personal health and happiness?

Tarik: For me, health always comes first. I’ve learned what works for my body, and I try to stay grounded in that no matter what pressures are around. Having a strong routine and staying connected to my roots helps me build a level of mental fortitude required to maintain these expectations.

HFR: Who or what inspires you to keep pushing forward in both your career and your healthy lifestyle?

Tarik: My family, especially my mum and dad with their daily support. I get a lot of inspiration from their values and the lives they have built themselves since coming to Australia post Bosnian war. Also, seeing how far I’ve come motivates me to keep going and chase bigger goals.

HFR: What advice would you give to young people who want to pursue modeling while also prioritizing a strong, healthy body and mindset?

Tarik: Take care of yourself first physically and mentally. Stay authentic, surround yourself with positive people who have the same mindset and goals as you do, and don’t compare yourself too much to others only to yourself. Confidence grows with time and consistency.

HFR: Where do you see your career heading in the next five years?

Tarik: I hope to finish my studies and take my modeling to an international level. I’m excited to explore new markets, meet new people, and continue building my confidence and skills in the industry.

HFR: Have you considered transitioning into acting or taking on roles in film or television? If so, what kind of characters or stories would you love to explore?

Tarik: Yes, acting is definitely something I’m interested in. I’d love to take on roles that are physically demanding such as the action movies I loved watching growing up. Shoutout spider- man!

HFR: What skills from modeling do you think translate well into acting, and which ones have you had to work on developing?

Tarik: Modeling teaches you a lot about presence, posing, body language, and how to connect with the camera. But acting requires even deeper emotional expression, so I’d like to focus on developing that side of things, learning how to channel real emotions.

HFR: Is there a dream brand, designer, or director you hope to collaborate with in the future?

Tarik: There are a few international brands I admire, especially those with a strong focus on lifestyle, fitness, and authenticity. I’ve been wearing Nike on my feet my whole life, so working with Nike would be the ultimate dream come true. I’d love to work with people who value originality and creative expression.

HFR: As your career evolves, how do you plan to keep growing creatively and professionally whether in front of the camera or beyond it?

Tarik: I want to keep learning no matter what I’m doing. I feel really grateful to be signed with Mate Model Management, they are teaching me a lot and Rhys, my manager, has really taken me under his wing. So for now I am really happy. The future, whether it involves new roles in modeling or stepping into acting, I am excited to evolve. I’m also really keen to get more involved behind the scenes eventually, maybe even work on projects that combine storytelling with fitness and health. For now, I’m staying open and giving my best to every opportunity.

As we’ve seen through this inspiring conversation,Tarik exemplifies how dedication to both fashion and fitness can go hand in hand. His commitment to maintaining a healthy lifestyle not only enhances his modeling career but also serves as a powerful reminder that wellness is achievable with consistency and self-discipline. By integrating exercise and mindful living into his routine, he sets a compelling example for anyone looking to improve their physical and mental well-being. Whether you’re stepping onto a runway or simply aiming to feel better in your everyday life, his story shows that embracing a healthy lifestyle is a journey worth taking.
